Employment:
Self-employed illustrator, specialising in UK children's markets - 1981-2001, working through Maggie Mundy Illustration Agency, Graham-Cameron Illustration Agency, Wildlife Art Agency. I worked via these agencies with a large range of major London publishers, producing illustrations for both educational and picture books, magazines and general editorial requirements. I originated the ideas for, and illustrated, two children's picture books of my own: 'Jenny and the Tooth Fairy' (Methuen 1987) and 'The Lost Doll' (Hamish Hamilton 1992). I worked on a freelance basis for Anglia Multimedia in Norwich on a series of CDroms for children.
I have lived in southern France since 2001 where I have explored the creative potential of freedom from the restrictions which the demands of illustration placed upon me. I completed a Masters degree in Fine Art at UWIC in Cardiff , Wales in September 2008 and my piece for the MA Final Show was chosen by the artist Simon Fenoulhet for review and inclusion as an MAStar work on the Axis artists' resources website.
